Here the earth has ancient furrows. It generates vines and gives life to grapes. It favors the ritual of the grape harvest. The area to the south of San Pietro in Cariano is a part of this ancient land, where the winery Montecariano is located. While planting the vines many Roman ruins were uncovered, traces of a distant time, from where the slow but punctual miracle of wine begins.
