Chile is the fifth largest wine exporter in the world and the ninth largest producer. In Chile there are about over 20 types of grape and most of them are a mixture of Spanish and French varieties. The main wine regions in Chile are Atacama, Coquimbo and Aconcagua, while their main types of grape are Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay.
